The honest version
Homeowners tell us the same thing every time. They were never afraid of the person. They were afraid of having no paperwork, and of a situation they could not end. So the paperwork came first.
- We background-check the guest before any introduction is made.
- Both of you sign a stay agreement before move-in. Fixed term, defined notice on both sides, what the room includes, and the house rules you set.
- You choose. You meet the person first. Nobody is placed in your home without your yes.
- We stay in it. We check in after move-in, because the first month is where these either hold or fall apart.
Who this is a bad idea for
If you want a passive income stream and no contact, this is the wrong programme. It works when the host actually wants somebody in the house. The good matches are people who have the space and would rather it did something useful.
